NO Haven LAST Week of the Month
We don’t meet the last week of the month. Join us next week!
Haven “LGBTQ” Small Group
NEW TOPIC: Sacred Resistance
We’ll explore the powerful themes of Jesus and the Disinherited by Howard Thurman — the book that shaped Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s theology of justice and the gospel.
King carried it with him during the Montgomery Bus Boycott, not just as a strategy manual — but as a spiritual framework rooted in the belief that Jesus stands with the oppressed.
This series will help us build an internal foundation for justice: one that is compassionate, courageous, and rooted in faith.
Howard preached a gospel that demanded social transformation, love of enemies, and liberation for the disinherited. That’s the gospel we’ll explore together.
🗓 Wednesdays
🍽 Dinner @ 6:30pm
🗣 Discussion @ 7:00pm
📍Donna’s - dm for address
No reading required. Just come as you are — with your questions, your hope, your wounds, and your whole self.
