SHOC Financial Transparency & Shared Foundations 2027
A Practical Look at What It Takes to Sustain Our Community β Now and Into 2027
π Honest. Transparent. Ethical Giving.
At SHOC, we believe financial transparency is part of ethical leadership.
We go beyond standard reporting because we want our community to understand:
Where money goes
What things actually cost
How generosity directly impacts our mission
And how weβre planning responsibly for the future
Giving isnβt about pressure or guilt.
Itβs about practical generosity, ethical stewardship, and building something that lasts.
π― Why Weβre Planning for 2027 Now
In 2026, we hit a major milestone:
β $26,000 raised to sustain SHOC through 2026.
Now weβre looking ahead.
As we prepare for 2027 β we are proactively securing stability before 2027
Our goal:
$55,000 in 2027 commitments by December 31, 2026.
This allows us to:
Reduce reliance on any single donor
Enter 2027 with financial stability
Strengthen long-term systems
Invite broader shared ownership
This is not emergency fundraising.
It is responsible planning.
πΏ Shared Foundations 2027
We are inviting participation from three circles of support:
1οΈβ£ SHOC Households
Those who call our church home.
2οΈβ£ Extended Community
Former members, family, and friends who have been impacted by SHOC.
3οΈβ£ Broader Supporters
Those who follow our leadership and believe in what weβre building β even from afar.
Sustainability should never fall on a small group alone.
We are widening the circle intentionally.
